In Memoriam |
|
This are very sad news. I've been a fan of Barry Blair's art for about
ten or twelve years.
I first met his work when I bought the Demongate comics. The instant I
saw into those
pages I knew I found a Kindred spirit. The very first one.
I only got the opportunity to talk to him once, through a message. I
was very surpirsed to find out
who he was ( when I first send my message I didn't know it was him, he
had a nickname), and I was
quite glad to meet him in such a casual way. I thought that given some
time we would have the chance
to become friends through the net. Now that will never happen. I
didn't really had the chance to meet him
but I have no doubt that I'm going to miss him.
I'd like to send my condolences, to you, Adrian, to his family,
friends and all the people that loved him.
A lot of people is going to miss Barry Blair.
Goodbye Barry From Sameh. |

I'm sure you'll get many condolences. Barry's art was so different and it was erotic giving me tingles all the time. So much of the panels was anticipatory. What was going to happen next. I thank all of you at Blair Comix because the team produced the art under Barry's guidance. He will be missed by the community.

so sorry for colin and all barry's friends and colleagues
he was a considerable graphic artist and storyteller
and much under-rated
i hope the blaircomix team stick together and continue the work once the mourning is over
maybe those of us who have commissionmed private work from barry over the years could pool the artwor , and have adrian piece together a celebratory ELFLORE valedictory graphic novel
one that would do his memory justice
so so sorry From mike |
